Switching things up.
My blog posts haven't been all that great lately. So i'm deciding to change things up. I can just talk about how my week since we do our posts on fridays. My week started off being as wonderful as can be. Monday I went to school and then came home took an epic nap before embarking on a journey to the mall. Went to pacsun and got a 25 dollar shirt for just $3.50. I'd say that was a pretty good shopping day. After pacsun went and got a cinnabon! My oh my, it was delicious. Then tuesday rolled around. Came to school suffered a bit in writing for publication. Then after came home and went out to dinner for my dads birthday. I ended up having mac and cheese from the chancery. It was one of the best mac and cheeses i've ever had. I still think noodles is better. Wednesday came. School as usual. Came home went to take a nap but work called me in an hour early. Yay for more hours. Ended up finally leaving work around 11:15. One of the reasons I dont ever get sleep. But thats fine. I dont need it. Thursday. I went to apline valley to go shred on my snowboard. The conditions were great to snowboard. A little bit slushy but still slightly icy to maintain speed. I had a blast. Stopping at taco bell after to eat some delicious treats. Who knows what tonight holds in store. Working from 330-930. We have walleye back at culvers. Were probably gonna get destroyed tonight. But after im going to amandas to relive some stress in the hot tub. Thanks for reading. Enjoy. Have a good weekend.

Amanda who? Work on the conventions. Capitalization. Punctuation. That kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about the "switching it up." Remember, one of the things I'm looking for is a recurring theme throughout the posts. When you change gears like this, I'm not sure how your remain consistent.
I'm alos not sure how interesting this is as a post. It reads very informatively. While this is not likely information we'd get elsewhere on the web, I am concerned that this isn't information people will find particularly compelling to read. I'd prefer more of your commentary.
If you want to go this route, that's fine, but you need to do a better job of providing interesting analysis of your days. Even smaller observations are acceptable.
You need to use transistions in your writing. You throw a lot of ideas at us, but aren't really connecting them to one another. As a consequence, the writing feels choppy. For example: mac and cheese. You say the Chancery's was one of the best you've ever had. In the next sentence, without qualifying it, you just say Noodles is better. How about, "but I still think Noodles is the best."
